Vegetable Beef Soup .
Dissolve in-your-mouth lumps of meat, vegetables and potato in a generous spice implanted stock. You’ll cherish how the soup stock is somewhat thickened and the additional flavor the wine or brew adds to the soup (the mysterious fixing!).
20 minutes dynamic cook/prep.
Ingredients :
▢1.5 tbsp olive oil , isolated
▢500g/1 lb stewing hamburger , cut into 1.75cm/2/3″ 3D squares (Note 1)
▢1/2 tsp salt and pepper
▢1 onion , cleaved
▢3 garlic , minced (1 tbsp)
▢2 celery , cut into 0.8 cm/1/3″ cuts
▢3 carrots , cut into 0.5 cm/1/5″ thick cuts (split bigger ones)
▢4 tbsp flour
▢2 1/2 cups (625ml) meat stock/stock , low sodium
▢1 1/2 cups (375ml) dry red wine, Guinness brew or heavy (Note 2)
▢1.5 cups (375ml) water
▢2 tbsp tomato glue
▢2 straight leaves
▢1 tsp thyme dried
▢1 cup frozen peas
▢2 potatoes (any), cut into 1.5cm/2/3″ 3D shapes
Rich MUSHROOMS (OPTIONAL):
▢1 tbsp (15g) spread or oil
▢200g/6oz little mushrooms , quartered or split
Directions :
Heat 1 tbsp oil until exceptionally hot in an enormous, weighty based pot over high intensity.
Wipe hamburger off with paper towels, then, at that point, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Earthy colored hamburger forcefully in 2 or 3 bunches, adding more oil if necessary. Eliminate cooked meat into a bowl.
In the event that pot looks dry, add a touch more oil.
Add garlic and onion, cook for 2 minutes.
Add carrot and celery, cook for 2 minutes or until onion is clear.
Mix in flour, then, at that point, gradually pour in hamburger stock while continually blending.
Add brew, water, tomato glue, cove leaves and thyme, mix well. Then, at that point, add the hamburger back in.
Cover, change intensity to medium low so it’s gurgling delicately. Stew 1 hr 15 min or until meat is delicate.
Add potatoes and peas, stew for a further 20 minutes without the cover. Add cooked mushrooms as of now.
The soup is prepared when the potatoes are cooked and meat is exceptionally delicate (see video).
Change salt and pepper to taste (I like bunches of pepper in this!).
Scoop into bowls. Sprinkle with parsley and present with dry bread whenever wanted. Attempt fast Cheesy Garlic Bread or really simple Irish Soda Bread!
Rich MUSHROOMS (OPTIONAL):
Liquefy spread in an enormous skillet over medium high intensity. Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes until sautéed. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
