Fried cabbage with sausage .
A quick dinner of cabbage and sausage. I taught my husband, and now he can make it for himself. I like to fry everything separately – onion separately, sausage separately, cabbage separately. Then everything ends up crispy and appetizing to the eye.
INGREDIENTS FOR SIX SERVINGS :
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tbsp. butter
1-2 bulbs
400 grams of smoked sausage
1 small cabbage, shredded
3 tbsp. tomato paste
salt, pepper to taste
celery seeds or any seasonings (optional)
Slices of smoked pork breast, bacon or bacon (optional)
HOW TO COOK :
Melt a spoonful of vegetable oil and a spoonful of butter in a pan. Saute finely chopped onion over medium heat, stirring until golden, at least 10 minutes. Place the onions in a bowl.
In the same skillet, brown the sliced sausage.
In a large deep frying pan, melt another spoonful of vegetable oil and a spoonful of butter (or add finely chopped lard, if you like). Fry the shredded cabbage, stirring. Fry for 15-20 minutes, until softened.
Add fried onion, sausage, tomato paste, seasoning, salt, pepper. Stir it, put the lid on and stew all together for 5 to 10 minutes.
