Quick Viennese cookies

For all lovers of home baking we offer a recipe for Viennese cookies with jam. The cooking technology in this case is very easy to master and must settle in the cookbook of novice bakers as a basic.


1 egg
125g margarine
0.5 tbsp sugar
1 pinch of baking soda
1 pinch of salt
1.5-2 tbsp flour
3 tablespoons of jam


Melt margarine.

Add eggs and sugar to margarine. Stir to mix.

Add baking soda, salt and flour and mix well.

We get a soft, non-sticky dough.

Place 1/3 of the dough in the freezer and 2/3 in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Take 2/3 of the dough out of the fridge and roll out onto baking paper.

Spread jam on top. Any kind of jam may be used, but not too runny.

You can have several kinds of jam, it will be even more interesting.

Take the dough out of the freezer and grate it on a coarse grater on top, evenly shavings with the jam.

Bake for 30 minutes at 180°.

Take out and I immediately hot cut into portions.
