These are perhaps the easiest crumbly cookies to make! With only 3 ingredients and only 20 minutes of time, these cool whip cookies are quick to make, easy to bake and always a hit! The texture is the perfect combination of soft and chewy. Try eating just one…. I dare you!
Why cool whip?
Cool Whip gives baked goods a sweet, creamy texture and a deliciously light and airy texture. This easy recipe is suitable for beginners and does not require an electric mixer, making cleanup a breeze! All you need is a bowl to knead the dough, a bowl to dip the cookies in powdered sugar, and a baking sheet!
Bonus: fresh cream contains fewer calories than regular vegetable oil!
You can use any cake mix you like! We made a batch with chocolate, strawberry and funfetti cake. Look at the wonderful colors!

INGREDIENTS :
1 box cake mix
1 (8 ounce) container of whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
1 large egg
Powdered sugar (optional)
- Large Mixing Bowl
- Large Baking Sheet
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
- Wire Cooling Racks
- Silicone Baking Mat
INSTRUCTIONS :
Preparation: Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a large baking sheet with nonstick spray or line with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add the cake mix, whipping cream and 1 egg.
Mix until everything is well combined. We used a spatula; a hand mixer or blender is optional!
Using a medium cookie scoop, form tablespoon sized balls of dough and dip in sugar (if using).
Place the cookie dough balls with sugar on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. When ready, remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack.
