- 300 g shrimp;
- 2 cups rice;
- 3 red bell peppers;
- 1 onion;
- 1 chili pepper;
- 1 broccoli floret;
- 1 tsp red pepper;
- 1 tsp curry;
- 1 tsp sesame oil;
- 3 tsp soy sauce;
- fresh herbs.
Rinse rice several times until water is clean.
Leave in water for 5-10 minutes so that all starch is washed away and rice becomes crumbly.
After 5-10 minutes, cook the rice until fully cooked, season with sesame oil and set aside. If the shrimp were frozen, leave them to thaw.
Then wash, peel and separate the tails. In a pan fry the onion until golden brown, add chopped vegetables.
Salt it, pour soy sauce on it and stir-fry for a few minutes.
Add all the remaining seasoning and shrimp and mix well. Then turn down the heat a bit, add the rice and put the lid on.
Braise until tender. When the pan is ready, stir it up and decorate with finely chopped greens. If you prefer, you can pour hot pepper over the dish.
