Air-fried filet mignon is a gourmet staple that can be made in minutes if you put them in the air fryer and cook these tender steaks to perfection! They are incredibly delicious and juicy, with a perfect golden brown crust that will make you wonder why you ever cooked steaks any other way!

Ingredients :

▢1 lb filet mignon (2 8 oz servings)
▢2 teaspoon salt
▢½ teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
▢1 tablespoon oil (divide into 2 ½ tablespoon servings)

instructions :

To ensure your fillets cook evenly, let them warm to room temperature on the table for 30 minutes before cooking. Then preheat the fryer to 400° F (205° C)

Meanwhile, cut off the connective tissue on the outside of the steak and blot it with paper towels. Season generously with salt and ground black pepper on all sides.

Place the seasoned filet mignons in the deep fryer basket, making sure they lie in a single layer with space between them. (*see note). Air fry for 11 to 13 minutes for medium rare steaks or until steaks reach desired internal temperature.

Take the steaks out of the air fryer and transfer them to a plate or cutting board. Then brush each fillet with 1 portion of butter. Cover tightly on top with a piece of foil and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
