This simple sausage and pepper stir-fry dish will make for an incredibly delicious family dinner in just 30 minutes! It’s so easy, just a few minutes of slicing and the rest is practically effortless!
1 red pepper.
▢1 green pepper
▢1 orange pepper (or yellow bell bell pepper)
▢1 red onion
▢½ tablespoon olive oil (Extra Virgin)
▢¼ teaspoon each, salt and pepper
▢5 Italian Sausages
▢5 hot dog buns or rolls (optional)
Preheat the fryer to 360° F. (182° C) for 5 minutes or until fully preheated.
Prepare the peppers and onions by washing and slicing or dicing. Drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper, then stir. Transfer the sliced peppers and onions to a deep fryer basket along with the sausages.
After the fryer is hot, arrange the Italian sausages in a single layer in the basket of the fryer. Cover and fry for 6 minutes at 360°F (182°C), then uncover and carefully flip the sausage with tongs.
Close the fryer and cook the sausages, peppers and onions for another 5 to 6 minutes or until the internal temperature of the sausages reaches 160°F. (71 ° С).
Place the sausages, peppers and onions on a plate and serve.
To serve the sausages with a bun or roll, you can place the sausages in the buns and reheat them in a deep fryer. Place each sausage in the bun, then return it to the deep fryer for 2-3 minutes until it is toasted and warm.
