GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE

The cake cooks quite quickly in spite of the amount of ingredients, and has a pleasant taste. The cakes come out soft and a little moist, which allows the product not to be dry even with a minimum amount of cream. The excellent taste of the chocolate dough is well set off by the nuts in the cream.

Ingredients :

For the crusts:
eggs. 2 eggs
flour 1.5 cup
brown sugar 1 cup
sugar 1 cup
water 1 cup
cocoa powder 3/4 cup
vegetable oil 1/4 cup
vanilla 1.5 tsp.
soda 1 tsp.
salt 1/2 tsp.
for the cream :
condensed milk 400 г
butter 110 г
eggs 6 pcs.
almonds 2 cups
coconut chips 2/3 cup
vanilla 2 tsp.

Preparation :

STEP 1.
Turn on the oven and let it heat to 180 degrees. In a bowl combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt and baking soda. Separately, beat vegetable oil and sugar on maximum speed of the mixer. Add the eggs and continue beating until smooth. Pour in the hot water and immediately whisk the mixture. Pour in the dry mixture a little at a time and stir to break up any lumps.

STEP 2.
Line two molds with parchment paper and grease them with butter. Divide dough into two pieces and bake in two forms for 30-40 minutes on the middle shelf of the oven. If the two molds cannot be placed on the same level due to the peculiarities of the oven, switch them in the middle of the baking process, thus allowing them to bake equally evenly. Leave the finished cakes to cool.

STEP 3
Whisk the condensed milk with the yolks in a small saucepan and add the butter and put over a low heat. Cook, stirring all the time until the cream thickens significantly, about 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and add the coconut flakes and almond flakes and vanillin to the hot cream. Smear the cakes with the cooled cream and assemble them. Smear the surface and sides with the cream and leave the German chocolate cake with the almonds to soak for several hours.

TIP .
To make the cake soak more quickly you can cut the cakes into two parts and assemble the cake from four instead of two, thus increasing the area to be smeared with cream.
