Ingredients:

▢ ¾ cup butter (softened, room temperature)
▢ ½ cup sugar
▢ ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)
▢ 1 broad egg (at room temperature)
▢ 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
▢ 1 teaspoon baking soda
▢ ¼ teaspoon salt
▢ 1¾ cups general purpose flour (spoon and smooth)
▢ ½ cup dark chocolate cocoa powder (sifted)
▢ 24 Mints (1 per cookie)
▢ 96 M&Ms (brown, 4 per cookie)
▢ 16 oz vanilla frosting
▢ 14 oz shredded coconut

Instructions :

To Make the Cookies.

To make the chocolate chip cookies, start by preheating the oven to 350° F .( 175° C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper. In a large bowl, mix together the butter, granulated white sugar, and light brown sugar until the mixture is smooth and everything is blended.

Then mix in the egg, vanilla, baking soda and salt until smooth. Then slowly add the flour and sifted cocoa powder until you have a soft cookie dough.

Scoop up some of the cookie dough and roll it between the palms of your hands to form a smooth ball. Place the ball on the prepared baking tray and gently press it down with the bottom of a cup. Once pressed, you want your cookies to be about 3 inches across. Repeat with the remaining cookie dough.

Place the cookies on the center rack of the oven and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 7-9 minutes or until they are no longer shiny and swollen.
Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool completely.

Collect the polar bear paw prints

When your cookies have cooled completely, use a knife to spread the vanilla icing evenly on top of each cookie.

Spread the grated coconut on a plate or shallow dish and gently press each cookie into the coconut with the frosting facing down.

Once you’ve added the grated coconut, you can form a paw print by placing one mint scone on the bottom center edge of the cookie and using 4 brown M&Ms to mark the finger pads. Repeat with all cookies.
Enjoy immediately or save for later.
