Chocolate toffee bars are crunchy toffee-flavored bars covered in chocolate with lots of toffee pieces. Only 6 ingredients, and it’s super easy to make!

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 large egg yolk
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (12 oz) bag milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup toffee bits
Preheat the oven to 325º F.
Beat butter, brown sugar and egg yolks until light and fluffy. Add the flour and vanilla. Stir until everything is well combined.
Press the batter into a greased baking dish or 13×9 inch baking tray.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until edges are golden.
Sprinkle chocolate shavings evenly over the bars.
Let rest 5-7 minutes (or 2-3 minutes back in the oven) until chocolate is glossy. Gently spread the melted chocolate in an even layer.
Sprinkle toffee pieces on top.
Allow the chocolate to harden before cutting into bars.
