An easy-to-make but extraordinarily delicious pie that represents an American classic. Juicy, sour-sweet orchard cherries and honeyed blackberries perfectly complement the sweetish pastry, coated in a delicious sugar crust. The hot cobbler pairs perfectly with refreshing vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients :

Cherry 300g
100g of blackberry
Corn starch 2 tbsp.
Vanilla sugar 10 g
Flour 120g
Leavening agent 1 tsp.
Natural yogurt 125 ml
Butter 50 gr
Powdered sugar 1 tbsp.
Brown sugar 160g
Salt 1 tsp.
Vanilla ice cream 250 g

Melt butter and cool.
Put the cherries into a bowl (defrost the frozen cherries and drain the excess water), mix together with the blackberries. Add the starch, 60g of sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt and mix gently.

In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, remaining sugar, a pinch of salt, melted butter and yogurt, mix thoroughly.

In a rectangular form, place the fruit filling, pour the batter over it. Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for an hour. Sprinkle the pie with powdered sugar 5 minutes before it is ready.
