AMISH CINNAMON BREAD RECIPE .

Let’s just get real for a moment, I love eating Amish Friendship Bread but I don’t like holding up 10 days before I can eat it. It’s a long process and in spite of the fact that it tastes unimaginable I see it as a big problem so I never make it .

INGREDIENTS :

Batter :
½ cup butter, mellowed (salted) add ¼ teaspoon salt if utilizing unsalted
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk in addition to 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice)2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Cinnamon/Sugar Mixture:
⅓ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS :

Cream margarine, sugar, vanilla, and egg together. Add milk, flour, and baking pop and mix them well.
pour ½ of butter into a greased loaf container.

In a different bowl mix ⅓ cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together to make the cinnamon/sugar combination. Sprinkle ¾ of the cinnamon/sugar combination on top of the ½ full container. Add remaining hitter to dish; sprinkle with rest of cinnamon/sugar on top.

Whirl butter utilizing a knife (You can utilize a margarine knife to make long even twirls or twirl anyway you like).
Prepare at 350 degrees for 50-60 min. or on the other hand until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
let cool in pan for 20 minutes .
