Air Fryer onions square measure dead caramelized, golden brown in color, tender, filled with flavor, with tender edges. they’re delicious to high on burgers, sandwiches and salads, nice as a dish or augment veggies to create fajitas.
1 giant onion, sliced. Note: detain mind that onions shrink as they cook throughout their caramelization stage (see pictures)
1 TBS oil of selection. i prefer to use vegetable oil or avocado oil.
1 tsp seasoning of selection. I presently use Mrs. Dash Seasoning mix or organic vegetable spice mix from Costco
1/4 tsp salt and pepper or to style (optional)
Slice onions skinny or whichever manner you wish to slice onions.
Preheat air volaille to 400F/200C for 2-5 minutes
In a giant bowl add onions, oil, seasoning, salt and pepper, if desired.
Mix them well. i prefer to use this OXO food basting brush to confirm an excellent coating with oil and seasoning.
Pour onions into your air volaille basket/tray. it’s higher to cook them directly on the tray/basket, however, you’ll be able to line the receptacle with parchment paper or air volaille parchment paper.
Spread the onions within the basket so that they do not overlap
Airfry mode at 400F/200C for ten minutes, flipping them halfway or till the specified caramelized look. I down the worker to 350F and baked for a further 3-5 minutes as a result of i like my onions golden brown and caramelized.
