Easy Homemade Crepes Recipe .

These simple homemade Crepes are tender, thin, buttery and so delicious! They can be made in a blender or by hand and you don’t need a special pan. They are delicious with savoury or sweet toppings and can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dessert!

Equipment :

  • crepe pan or nonstick pan.
  • blender, food processor or whisk.

Ingredients :

▢ 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted and cooled plus more for the pan
▢ 1 cup all-purpose flour 120g
▢ 1 tbsp granulated sugar
▢ 1/4 tsp salt
▢ 3/4 cup whole milk 180mL
▢ 2 large eggs room temperature
▢ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions :

Place ingredients in a blender and whip for 10 seconds or until smooth. Pour into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least one hour or up to 24 hours.

Melt 3 to 4 tablespoons of butter in a small bowl and heat a frying pan over medium heat.

Grease the hot pan with butter and place about 1/4 cup of batter in the center.

Immediately use a tool or tilt the pan to distribute the batter. Cook for 30 to 60 seconds or until the surface loses its shine, then flip with a spatula or offset spatula and cook for another 30 seconds. Before each new pancake, brush with butter.
