Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Start beating the egg whites on the lowest speed of the mixer. Slowly add sugar and vanilla, a spoonful at a time.
When the whites are white and quite thick, add the yolks one spoonful at a time, continuing to whisk.
Sift the flour into the bowl with the whites, kneading gently from bottom to top with a spoon.
Pour the ready dough into an oiled dish and place it in a preheated 190-200 degrees oven for 20-25 minutes.
The main rule when baking biscuits: do not open the oven door, otherwise the biscuit will fall off. It is desirable that during baking there was no loud sounds in the kitchen.
Take the finished biscuit out of the mold, turning it over on a rack or towel, and let it cool.
If you follow all the rules, the biscuit turns out high and very airy. It can be the perfect base for a cake.
