Ingredients for the stuffed chicken breast with cream cheese and spinach:
3 pieces of chicken breast
250g frozen or fresh spinach leaves
1 small onion
100g cream cheese or ricotta
30g parmesan cheese
1 large clove of garlic
salt, bell pepper, paprika powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
How to prepare the stuffed chicken breast in the oven?
1.) Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté with a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the spinach and saute briefly.
2.) When the spinach is cooked, stir in the cream cheese and parmesan. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
3.) Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat.
4.) Cut the sides of the chicken breasts to create a small pocket for the filling. Rub the meat with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
5.) Generously stuff each chicken breast and then place in the oven. Bake for about 30 minutes until the meat is golden brown and cooked through.
6.) Remove the stuffed chicken breasts from the oven and serve with your choice of side dish.
