AIRFRYER SPRING ROLLS WITH PORK AND SHRIMP
Do you usually only eat spring rolls at your favorite Chinese restaurant? But you can also easily make these little Asian classics yourself, especially spring rolls from the airfryer are super easy. You can buy the spring roll dough and for the filling we have a great recipe with pork and shrimp.
To avoid unnecessary stress during cooking, we already prepare all the ingredients. To do this, we cut the pork evenly into 2cm thin slices. Make sure that the knife is sharp enough to cut the fine fibers and not to crush them. By doing so, you would only destroy the texture.
The shrimp are peeled out of the shell and cut into small pieces as well. Of course, you can also buy already prepared shrimp. Peel the garlic, carrots and radish and dice them as finely as possible. Clean the spring onions thoroughly and cut them into rings.
Now it’s time to get down to the cooking. Put a wok on the stove and heat with a little oil. Once the oil is hot, add the meat strips, garlic and spring onions and fry everything until hot. Then pull the wok off the flame and stir in the peeled and sliced shrimp. Add fish & oyster sauce with finely chopped chili and cilantro greens for seasoning. Season the wok with salt and let everything sit in the wok for a short moment.
For the spring rolls, spread the individual sheets of dough flat on the work surface and fill them with the filling in the middle. Make sure not to use too much filling so that the dough can be rolled and sealed easily. Tip: You can glue the ends together with a little water. First fold in the left and right sides and then roll up.
Finally, brush the filled spring rolls with a little argan oil and deep-fry them at 200° Celsius for about 6 – 8 minutes in an Airfyer. And that’s how quickly the spring rolls from the Airfryer are ready.
