Pecan Upside Down Cake .
PREP TIME : 20 minutes
COOK TIME : 45 minutes
TOTAL TIME : 1 hour 5 minutes
Ingredients :
For the topping:
8 tbsp. Butter
½ cup Brown Sugar
¼ cup Corn Syrup
1 cup Pecans (Chopped)
Pinch of Salt
For the cake:
3 Large Eggs
½ cup Oil
1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
3 tbsp. Sour cream
1 cup Water
Instructions :
Heat the broiler to 350 degrees, and oil a bundt container well.
In a bowl, join the elements for the cake, and mix on high until smooth and velvety.
Add the spread to a pot over medium intensity on the oven, and permit it to liquefy.
Mix in the earthy colored sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook until the sugar has dissolved.
Blend in the walnuts. Empty the combination into the lower part of a bundt container.
Add the cake hitter on top. Prepare for 40-45 minutes.
Allow the cake to cool for 10-15 minutes prior to turning it out onto a serving plate.
